Celebrating the Light of God

At Home Church, we are thrilled to embark on a transformative journey exploring the themes of Home, Hope, and the Lord of the Harvest. Our three-month study for July, August, and September is designed to deepen our understanding of these crucial aspects of our faith.
December: As we count down to Christmas, we’ll delve into the true meaning of this festive season. Beyond the gifts and feasts, let’s remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus, the ultimate gift to humanity.
The Light of the World: We’ve been reminded that light is the very essence of who God is. Light brings life, clarity, direction, and warmth. As believers, we’re called to walk in this light, reflecting God’s love and truth to the world.
Thanksgiving: Beyond just feeling grateful, giving thanks to God is an action. It’s a recognition of His provision, protection, and steadfast love. As we study scriptures like 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Psalm 136, we’re encouraged to express our gratitude in all circumstances.
Christmas – The Reason for the Season: Christmas is more than just a festive holiday. It’s a celebration of God’s love for us, manifested in the birth of Jesus. This season, let’s focus on the hope, love, and salvation that Jesus brings.
Upcoming Events:
Christmas 2023 Celebrations: Dates for our special Christmas events will be announced soon. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the birth of our Savior.
A Personal Reflection:
It’s no coincidence that we’re all part of this church family. Let’s continue to build relationships, grow together, and encourage one another. As we walk in the light of Christ, may our lives shine brightly, leading others to Jesus.
Final Thoughts:
As we move forward, let’s remember Jesus’ words: “You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16). Let’s be beacons of hope, love, and faith in our community.
